Operating instructions for the CoughMonitor device include power management, screen lock, and proximity range.
Power Management
- The CoughMonitor powers on when the battery level is 1% or higher
- When the battery is depleted, the device powers off automatically
- Upon charging, the device powers back on automatically
- There is no manual power button to turn the device on and off
- There is no manual button to turn monitoring on and off
Screen Lock
- The screen of the CoughMonitor will lock automatically after 3 seconds, displaying a black screen
- To unlock the screen, press the round button once
Proximity Range
- The CoughMonitor operates effectively within close proximity to the study participant's mouth, ideally within 3 feet or 90 cm
