If the participant's CoughMonitor screen is displaying the message, "Monitoring is OFF" please have the participant check the following:
- Confirm the CoughMonitor is being charged
- Confirm Bluetooth is enabled on the phone
- Open the Companion App and tap the "Try Again" button to force reconnection
- Close and open the Companion App
- Wait 2 minutes and check if the CoughMonitor shows as "Connected" in the Companion App
- Check if the CoughMonitor's screen shows "Monitoring is ON"
If after completing the above steps the CoughMonitor still displays, "Monitoring is OFF" then please contact support@coughmonitor.com.
